Grenade hurled at Jehangir chowk, one civilian killed
Srinagar: A civilian was killed and several others were injured in a grenade blast at Jehangir Chowk, Srinagar, police said.
The injured were shifted to SMHS hospital, where one of the injured succumbed to his injuries.
The civilian has been identified as Maqsood Ahmed Shah, a resident of Budgam.
Reports said that suspected militants hurled a grenade at a CRPF vehicle, and was aimed at the CRPF men deployed in the area.
