6 minors, 3 doctors among 586 COVID cases reported in 24 hours in JK, tally reaches 90,752

Srinagar: Six minors and three doctors were among 586 new COVID cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 24 hours, thus taking the JK’s tally to 90,752.

Officials said that 206 of the cases were reported from Jammu division and 380 from Kashmir valley.

Giving district-wise breakup of the cases, they said, Srinagar reported 154, Budgam 41, Baramulla 40, Pulwama20, Kupwara 30, Anantnag 49, Bandipora 12, Ganderbal 22, Kulgam 11, Shopian one, Jammu 121, Rajouri 10, Udhampur 12, Doda 14, Kathua 8, Poonch 9, Samba 7, Kishtwar 12, Ramban 8 and Reasi 5.

Moreover, 684 more COVID patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 348 from Jammu and 336 from Kashmir.

According to the daily bulletin, out of 90752 positive cases, 7842 are Active Positive, 81486 have recovered and 1424 have died; 472 in Jammu division and 952 in Kashmir.

The bulletin further said that out of 21,25,790 test results available, 2035038 samples have been tested as negative till October 23, 2020.

Till date, 639551 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 19395 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 7842 in isolation and 50024 in home surveillance. Besides, 560866 persons have completed their surveillance period.
