Jammu and Kashmir: DGP Singh, Wakf Board Chairman Ganai extend warm greetings to people on Eid Milad-un-Nabi

Srinagar: The Director General of Police (DGP) Jammu and Kashmir, Dilbag Singh has extended greetings to people of the State on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), the birth anniversary of the Last Prophet of Islam.

A spokesman said that Singh expressed hope that the auspicious occasion would bring happiness and prosperity for the people in general and all ranks of J&K police, their families in particular.

DGP has prayed for the happiness of the people of the State, he said.

Chairman, J&K Wakf Board, Khurshid Ahmed Ganai, has also extended his warm greetings to people of the State on the occasion and expressed hope that the auspicious occasion would bring harmony, peace and prosperity in the State.

In a message, Ganai, who is also the Advisor to the Governor, observed that Islam teaches us the virtues of amity and brotherhood, which each one of us need to imbibe. He also prayed for the well-being and happiness of the people of the State on this auspicious occasion.
