Panchayat polls: Kupwara records highest voting percentage till noon in Kashmir

Srinagar: Kupwara and Bandipora district in north Kashmir’s recorded the highest voting percentage of 30 each till midday while southern Pulwama recorded 0.2 percent during the fifth phase of Panchayat elections in the valley, as per the figures released by the chief electoral officer.

Anantnag district of south Kashmir witnessed 6.7 per cent.

Here are the figures released by the chief electoral officer till midday:

Kupwara 30.7 percent, Bandipora 30 percent, Baramulla 26.1 percent, Ganderbal 13.2 percent, Budgam 29.8 percent, Pulwama 0.2 percent, Anantnag 6.7 percent, Doda 55.9 percent, Ramban 63.9 percent, Udhampur 60.3 percent,  Reasi 56.2 percent, Jammu 59.1 percent, Rajouri 60.4 percent and Poonch 72 percent.
