Strongly condemn blast in Jammu, attack on Kashmiris outside JK a matter of grave concern, says Mirwaiz
Srinagar: Chairman of the Hurriyat (M) Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has strongly condemned the Jammu blast in which a person has died and at least 29 have been injured.
He also pointed out that the assault on Kashmiris outside Kashmir continues to be a matter of grave concern. He was referring to the attack on Kashmiri traders in Lucknow by right wing extremists.
In a tweet, Mirwaiz said:
Saddened by the news of death of a civilian and the injury to scores of others in a blast in #Jammu at a bus stand and strongly condemn it. The ongoing assaults on Kashmiris outside continues to be a matter of grave concern for all which should immediately be stopped.

The blast took place at 11:45 am when a grenade was hurled at a stationary bus at the main terminus. Inspector General of Police, Jammu M K Sinha confirmed injuries to 18 people. “The injured were shifted to GMC&H Jammu for treatment,” said Sinha, adding that the condition of some injured was serious.
