Jammu blast: Another injured succumbs, death toll mounts to two

Another civilian, who was injured in a blast that took place at Jammu bus stand on Thursday, has succumbed to his injuries. The death toll has mounted to two and as many as 28 people are injured.

32-year-old Mohd Riyaz, a resident of Mattan area of Anantnag, succumbed at a hospital on Friday around 1:15 am, said an official.

On Thursday, a 17-year-old youth from Uttarakhand was killed in the blast. The police said that the person responsible for the blast has been arrested. They identified the accused as Yasir Javaid Bhat alias Arhaan of Kulgam district.

The blast was condemned by all political ideologies of the state.
