LS Polls: 2.43 percent voting in Srinagar parliamentary constituency till 11 am

Srinagar: Till 11 am, Srinagar parliamentary constituency recorded 2.43 percent voting. 15,206 registered voters have exercised their franchise in Srinagar parliamentary constituency till 11 am.

The Srinagar parliamentary seat is spread over three districts of Srinagar, Budgam and Ganderbal consisting of 15 assembly segments.

As many as 12,90,318 voters are eligible to decide the fate of 10 candidates. 1,716 polling stations have been set up in the constituency.

Meanwhile, a complete shutdown is being observed across the valley.

All the business establishments remained closed in Srinagar while traffic was off the roads. Heavy deployment of the police and paramilitary forces has been made at all the sensitive places across the Srinagar-Budgam parliamentary constituency seat which is going to polls.
