India: COVID19 cases cross 11,000 mark for third consecutive day, tally at 3.32 Lakh

For the third consecutive day, the number of patients testing positive for the coronavirus crossed 11,000 on Monday, taking the tally to 3.32 lakh with the death toll to 9,520 as 325 more deaths were reported.

In the state of Rajasthan, the total number of infections is 12772 and in the state of Odisha, the tally is 4055.

The covid-19 tally has breached the 40,000 mark in Delhi in a span of six days. Maharashtra remains the most worst hit state with 1,07,958 positive cases.

Nonetheless, the recovery rate in India has crossed 51% and thus, has improved.

In the wake of the covid-19, Home Minister Amit Shah chaired an all-party meeting by calling upon the political parties in Delhi in order to discuss the situation in the national capital, firstpost reported.

According to an official, the BJP, the Congress, AAP and BSP have been invited for the meeting.
