Gunfight starts in Malbagh area of Srinagar
One CRPF personnel has been injured in ongoing gunfight
Srinagar: A gunfight broke out between militants and armed forces in Malbagh area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Thrusday evening.
A joint team of Police and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search-operation in Malbagh.
The armed forces have said that when the joint team approached the suspected spot, the militants fired upon them.
A CRPF personnel has been injured in ongoing gunfight. A senior Police officer told news agency GNS that the injured CRPF personnel has been shifted to a nearby hospital.
