Militant killed, armed forces personnel injured during attack on BJP worker’s residence in Ganderbal: Police
Ganderbal: An unidentified militant was killed and an armed forces personnel injured after the residence of a Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) worker was attacked by militants in Nunar area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, police said on Tuesday evening.

Kashmir police on its official twitter handle wrote: “militants fired at one BJP worker at Nunar in Ganderbal. “He is safe however, his one PSO sustained injuries in the incident. One unidentified militant got killed in PSO’s retaliation.”
Official sources said that the militants attacked the house of BJP worker Ghulam Qadir at Nunar, but PSO’s timely retaliation resulted in the killing of one militant in the exchange of fire.
