Man injured after being shot by unidentified gunmen in Srinagar, says police

Srinagar: A man was injured on Wednesday after unidentified gunmen attacked him in Eidgah area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.

Official sources said that unidentified gunmen suspected to be militants, fired upon a person in Eidgah area of the city resulting in injuries to him.

The injured person identified as Rouf Ahmad Khan, 45, was soon evacuated to hospital for treatment, the officials said, adding, the status of his condition is yet to be ascertained.
