Srinagar: Markets in Kashmir witnessed thin footfall of shoppers on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Though shops such as bakeries, mutton and chicken outlets were abuzz with customers but traders say the rush cannot still be compared to what used to be witnessed before the pandemic brought gloom and doom across the globe.

Jammu and Kashmir Bank recorded transactions worth Rs 1,000 crore with the last two days witnessing withdrawal of Rs 326 crore from ATMs.
