NIA raids multiple locations in Kashmir, say officials

Srinagar: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) of India is conducting raids at multiple places in Kashmir, official sources said on Monday morning.

They said that the sleuths of NIA with the assistance of Jammu and Kashmir police and personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force are carrying out searches in connection with a case pertaining to an attack on the armed forces on 11 March this year in Darasgarh, Pulwama district of south Kashmir.

The raids were going on, sources said, adding that few ‘suspected’ persons have been detained in connection with the case. (KDC)
