Condoms, contraceptive pills, cigarettes found inside bags of school students in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: The management of a few schools in Bangaluru has found condoms, contraceptive pills, cigarettes, and lighters inside the bags of the students during a surprise check. The incident was reported on Monday and the students belonged to 8, 9, and 10th classes.

The belongings were found when the students’ bags were checked as school administration had received complaints about students bringing mobile phones to classes, reports said.

However, when the check was being conducted, condoms, contraceptive pills, lighters, cigarettes, whiteners, and some cash were found in the school bags.

Following the incident, the parents of the students were informed by the school administration. However, there is no report of any action taken by the authorities.
