New Delhi: In response to External Affairs Minister of India Jaishankar’s remark on Pakistan that the country was harbouring Osama bin Laden, the Foreign Minister of Pakistan Bilawal Bhutto Zardari criticized Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.

“Osama Bin Laden is dead but the Butcher of Gujarat is alive and the prime minister of India. This is the prime minister and foreign minister of RSS which derives inspiration from Hitler,” Bhutto said while addressing the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

Bhutto added: “He (Modi) was banned from entering this country until he became the Prime Minister. This is the Prime Minister of the RSS and the Foreign Minister of the RSS. What is the RSS? The RSS takes inspiration from Hitler’s ‘SS’.”

“We should finally work together to put an end to this longstanding point of irritation between the two countries… Let us look to the future and ensure to going forward,” he remarked.

Earlier, when Bhutto spoke about the long-standing Kashmir dispute, Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, said, ”While we search for the best solutions, what are those that we must never accept include the normalization of such threats. The question of justifying what the world regards as unacceptable should not even arise. It certainly applies to states’ sponsorship of cross-border terrorism. Nor can hosting Osama Bin Laden and attacking a neighbouring Parliament can serve as credentials for sermonizing before this council.”
