Video: Police vehicle set ablaze in Anantnag by people protesting Rohingya persecution

Srinagar: A Police vehicle was set on fire by angry protesters in Anantnag in front of DC Office Kashmir Anantnag after clahes erupted after JeA Leader Mushtaq Ahmad Veeri took out a protest rally to express sympathy with Rohingya Muslims.

After friday prayers, people of Anantnag on Friday held a protest demonstration against the innocent killings of Burma.

Police used canisters shell to disperse the protestors , while the protestors were pelting stones and set ablaze a Rakshak veichle of police outside the DC Office gate.

Six policemen, including two officers, were injured during clashes in Anantnag district of south Kashmir on Friday.

An official said that six policemen were injured in the clashes following protests over the killing of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.
