Second braid chopping incident reported in the city
Srinagar: Another incident of braid chopping was reported from Kaw Mohalla near the Dastgeer Sahib Shrine, in Khanyar, in the centre of Srinagar on Wednesday.
The victim was found unconscious by her husband. According to the locals, the suspects were seen on the ground floor balcony of the house.
Protests erupted in the area however police reached the spot and contained the protests.
Earlier a braid chopping incident was reported from the Nowgam area on the outskirts of the city. The victim, a housewife had pleaded the criminals not to spray her.
They, two in number had threatened her not to create any hue and cry otherwise they will kill her.
