Massive fire damages Khanqah-e-Moula shrine partially
Srinagar: A massive fire which broke out in the revered Khanqah-e-Moula shrine damaged it’s roof and spire partially.
The fire, reports said, was caused by short-circuit.
Khanqah e maula is built in memory of renowned saint Mir Syed Ali Hamdani (RA).
Reports said the fire was brought under control by the timely action of the locals and the fire tenders.
Meanwhile, the concerned MLA Ali Muhammad Sagar visited the shrine on Wednesday and took stock of the situation.
