Parimpora Eleven beats RCC Chatabal in SEM T20 Cricket Tournament in Old City

Srinagar: Two league matches were played on Thursday in the ongoing Shaheed-e-Millat T20 Cricket Tournament at Islamia College Old City Srinagar, where Parimpora Eleven in a thrilling match beat, RCC Chattabal with 5 runs.

In another match played between Jamia Hurricanes v/s Team Hooked, the audience witnessed the highest ever runs score made by a team in the ongoing tourney.

The Team Hooked set a target of 226 runs to which Jamia Hurricanes collapsed on just 137 runs.

In the match played between Parimpora Eleven and RCC Chattabal, the former team after winning the toss decided to bat first. The decision proved wrong as the batting lineup collapsed for just 90 runs.

To the surprise of the audience, while chasing the target the RCC Chattabal succumbed against the aggressive bowling attack of Parimpora Eleven and were left with 5 runs short to win the match.

The Man of the Match of this thrilling game was given to Muzzafar Ahmad Dar who for his outstanding all-round performance, under which he took a wicket and scored a precious 34 runs.

S. Manzoor was the chief guest on the occasion.

Earlier, setting a Himalayan height score, Team Hooked playing against Jamia Hurricanes and set a target of 226 runs. Chasing the target Jamia Hurricanes collapsed at just 137 runs due to the loss of back to back wickets. Zahid Ahmad turned the Man of the Match, presented by Farooq Ahmad Soudagar and Abdul Rashid Tanki who were chief guests on the occasion, besides Sahil Ahmad War.

On Friday the matches are scheduled between Ahmad Nagar Loins v/s Star Cricket Club and Saleem Bangroo Team v/s Royal Sports Haal.
