Holding elections the only way to end crisis in Afgansitan: Hezb-e Islami chief Hekmatyar
Gulbuddin Hekmatyar the leader of Hezb-e Islami party in a statement has said that holding upcoming presidential election is the only way to solve crisis in Afghanistan.
According to a report by Tolo News Hekmatyar was speaking at a press conference in Kabul on Thursday.
While saying that collation government harms a country, Hekmatuyar added that it was expected he should hold a meeting with participation of all political parties and opposition groups about the situation in the country.
Hekmatyar was replying to a question about ongoing tensions between Atta Mohammad Noor, whose resignation was approved by President Ashraf Ghani,
Hekmatyar said “it is a very small internal issue between him (Atta Mohamad Noor) and the government,” and added it “can be solved by the government.”
