Magnitude 5.9 earthquake strikes Afghanistan, tremors felt in Srinagar, Lahore, New Delhi
Multiple jolts were felt, and the magnitude is reported to be anywhere between 5.9 and 6.1
Epicenter Kunduz region of Afghanistan, 275km from Kabul, 6 km from Jurm, Badakhshan
People across Srinagar rushed out of their houses and buildings into the open area as mild tremors shook the region.
The tremors were felt around 12:40 pm. As per information available on EMSC, the epicenter is the Kunduz region of Afghanistan, 275km from Kabul.
Tremors have been reported from Kabul and Lahore. According to India based NDTV tremors were also felt in New Delhi.

The epicenter is located in the Hindukush region, and is situated 183 km east of Kundus.
