Rouhani gifts animated version of ‘Panchtantra’ in Persian, copy of Mahabharta to Modi

Srinagar: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, who is on a three day visit to India, in a good will gesture gifted an animated version of Panchtantra in Persian to Narendra Modi.

He also gifted a copy a Mahabharata to Modi.

This was informed by the Spokesman of the Ministry of External Affairs Raveesh Kumar in a tweet.

Iran and India, after holding ‘substantive talks’, inked nine pacts in key affairs of security, trade and energy. A pact regarding avoidance of double taxation was also signed by the two countries.
