Srinagar: Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday said that people like so-called Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) chief Asiya Andrabi should stop misleading people of Kashmir by raising Pakistan flags.

In a statement here BJP spokesman Khalid Jehangir said, “People like Asiya Andrabi are responsible for the bloodshed in Kashmir. They are the ones who have turned youth into cannon fodder. They get paid for dancing over the graves of Kashmiris.”

Earlier, DeM, lead by Asiya Andrabi while observing ‘Pakistan Day’ in Srinagar had said that ‘all Muslims of the subcontinent are Pakistanis’. During the programme they also sang the national anthem of Pakistan.

Jehangir said, “by waving Pakistan flag she wants to tell her bosses sitting across the Line of Control that she is on the job and her stipend should continue.”

The BJP spokesman said, “People of Kashmir had rejected the Jinnah’s two nation theory in 1947 and even after 70-years there are no takers for that theory in J&K. Its high time for Pakistan agents like Asiya Andrabi to wind up their shops in the Valley as people are fed up of bloodshed and killings.”

Jehangir said that people like Asiya Andrabi should be deported to Pakistan.

Jammu and Kashmir Police has registered a case against the Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) for raising ‘anti-national’ slogans during a programme on Friday.

“It has come to the notice of the police about certain unlawful acts of DeM outfit through social media videos and other reliable sources where they have indulged in acts inviting penal provisions for offences under various sections of UA (P) Act,” said a spokesman of the police in a statement.
