JRL calls for shutdown on Tuesday against civilian, militant killings in Pulwama

Srinagar: Joint Resistance Leadership has called for a complete shutdown on Tuesday against the civilian and militant killings in Pulwama’s Drubgam area.

In a statement, JRL comprising of Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik strongly condemning the killing of a student Shahid Ashraf Dar and two youth Sameer Ahmad and Aqib Wani by Indian armed forces.

In the gun fight, two Hizb militants including Sameer Tiger was killed. A 14 year old boy identified as Shahid Ahmad was killed during clashes which erupted near the gun fight site. At least 15 people were injured in clashes as people tried to save the besieged militants. five of them were referred to Srinagar for treatment.

A Major and a forces personnel were also wounded in the gun fight.
