JRL calls for shutdown on Wednesday against continued civilian killings, Bukhari’s murder

The Joint Resistance Leadership has called for a complete strike on 20th of June against the continued civilian killings in the valley which has witnessed a sudden spike since the eve of Eid.

“Three youth have been brutally gunned down by the Indian forces while the forth is struggling for his life at SKIMS,” said a JRL statement.

The statement also added that cordon and search operations has returned with vengeance to villages as people are being severely beaten and harassed and used as human shields.

JRL also mentioned that the the strike will also be observed against the brutal killing of veteran journalist Shujaat Bukhari.

JRL has also demanded an international probe into Shujaat’s  gruesome murder.
