Hurriyat (G) activist shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Sopore

A Hurriyat (G) activist was shot dead in Sopore area of Baramulla district on Saturday by unidentified gunmen.

Reports said that unidentified gunmen fired upon Hakim-ul-Rehman Sultani, son of Moulvi Nizamudin outside his home in Reshipora Bomai.

He was immediately shifted to Sopore hospital where he was declared dead on arrival. Sultani was affiliated with Hurriyat (G) led by Syed Ali Geelani and was recently released from jail.
