NC ‘WILL NOT’ support a BJP lead govt in JK, says Omar
Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference vice President Omar Abdullah dismissed rumors of supporting the BJP government in the valley on Monday, strongly saying that it would not happen.
In a tweet, he stated, “I understand some old news videos from 2014 are doing the rounds trying to suggest that NC is going to support a BJP lead Govt in J&K. Let me make it very clear – this IS NOT happening. This WILL NOT happen. This is some psy-ops plan designed to unsettle the @JKNC_ cadre.”

Ordinarily I wouldn’t bother with such stuff but it seems the videos are being used to unsettle/scare some of my grassroot level workers & so I’d rather nip this mischievous piece of fake news of @JKNC_ supporting a BJP CM in the bud right here & now.

Earlier, in an video that went viral on social media Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Ravinder Raina was been caught on tape mocking the outgoing governor and calling the new governor of Jammu and State as “our man”.
“Ab Jo Governor Aya Hai Woh Humara Banda Hai (The new Governor is our man),” Raina could be heard telling a group of people around him.
Satya Pal Malik took the oath as governor of JK last week. He replaced N N Vohra, who many feel was not given a graceful farewell.
During the former Ladakh’s Hill Development Council polls, BJP trailed behind the NC, winning only a single seat in Cha by BJP candidate Stanzin Lakpa.
