Clashes erupt in Kulgam after forces launch search operation
Srinagar: After armed forces launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in the Ghat Khudwani area of Kulgam, intense clashes have erupted.
Reports said that youth took to streets and clashed with the forces after the latter launched a CASO in the area. The search operation was launched after inputs of about presence of militants in the area.
Kulgam has been on the edge since the killing of seven civilians in a blast at a gunfight site in the Laroo village recently.
