Regional Director reviews digitization of revenue record at Kishtwar

Kishtwar: Regional Director Survey and Land Records (Ex-Officio Settlement Officer) Chenab Valley, Mohammad Hanief Malik Tuesday chaired the meeting regarding the scanning work of Old available revenue record of district Kishtwar and to review the implementation of Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP).

The meeting was attended by ADC Kishtwar Pawan Kumar Parihar,  ACR Kishtwar Afaq Ahmed, SDM Paddar, Tehsildar Kishtwar, Drabshalla, Chatroo, Mughalmaidan, Paddar, Senior Manager M/S Ramtech Software Soultions Pvt. ltd Jammu, Dr. Rana K Singh besides Naib Yehsildars, Patwari and field staff of Revenue department.

At the outset, the Regional Director briefed about the objectives of the project DILRMP and implementation of the same in the District.

He informed the participants that in the first instance old and new revenue record with Patwari Halqas shall be taken up for scanning and preservation and after completing the scanning further settlement of the areas where Massavis are not available through the help of Satellite imagery, would done by ETS machine.

The ADC directed the concerned to ensure the completion of the work in a stipulated time frame.

 The Senior Manager M/S Ramtech Software Solutions Pvt.Ltd J&K (Service Provider) Company of DILRMP Dr. Rana K Singh gave a detailed powerpoint presentation regarding the Digital India Land Records modernisation programme.

The main components of the programme include computerization of all land records including mutations, digitization of maps and integration of textual and spatial data, Scanning and preservation of Revenue documents.

He briefed the participants regarding digitisation of the Revenue Records, process of document scanning, data entry of Jamabandi, Scanning and digitisation of Mosaavi, Cadastal Survey, Satellite imagniery, photogrammetry, document preparation and bar coding, ROR entry etc.
