PDP, JKPC hit out at one another for claiming credit of GoI’s decision to extend rail link to Kupwara

Srinagar: Following the government of India’s decision to extend the Banihal-Baramulla railway link in the valley to the frontier district of Kupwara, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference (JKPC) hit out at one another on social media, each claiming credit for the decision taken.

“Congratulations to people of Kupwara, as the railway link from Baramulla to Kupwara finally approved. Hope soon Chenab valley and Pir Panchal too will get connected by train,” PDP president Mehbooba Mufti said in a tweet Thursday.
