Afghanistan: Eight Taliban killed, four wounded in airstrike in Uruzgan province, say Afghan Corps

Eight Taliban militants were killed in an airstrike in Tarinkot, the capital city of Uruzgan province, on Tuesday, the 205th Atul Corps, a corps-level formation of the Afghan National Army, said in a statement on Wednesday, TOLOnews reported.

The statement said four other militants were wounded in the airstrike.

The airstrike was carried out by Afghan Air Force in an area related to Tarinkot City where Taliban members had gathered, the statement said.

Taliban has not given any response to the report yet.
