Ahead of Modi’s visit, Mirwaiz placed under house arrest
Srinagar: Ahead of Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi’s visit to Kashmir, Hurriyat (M) Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq was placed under house arrest.

Modi is scheduled to visit the state on and lay the foundation stones of several projects. Meanwhile, Joint Resistance Leadership has called for a complete shutdown against his visit.
