Delhi Court sends JKLF Chief Malik to judicial custody till May 24

Srinagar: A Delhi court on Wednesday sent JKLF chief Yasin Malik to judicial custody till May 24, reported the Press Trust of India.

Malik was arrested by NIA in connection with an alleged militancy funding case and was shifted to Delhi jail.

Last week Malik’s family while addressing a press conference said that he was seriously ill in the custody of the National Investigation Agency, which also sparked a spontaneous shutdown at Maisuma in Lal Chowk.

The Joint Resistance Leadership had also called for a shutdown on Tuesday against the ‘ill-treatment’ meted-out to incarcerated Malik by NIA at Delhi.
