Requested Modi no precipitous steps which will worsen situation in JK should be taken, says Omar
After an NC delegation, including Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Omar has said that they have requested the PM that no precipitous steps, which can result in worsening the situation in JK, should be taken.
Omar added, ” We specifically asked him to let subjudice matters be settled by the courts and other matters be settled by an elected government.”
We requested him that no precipitous steps of any sort should be taken that may result in situation in the state, particularly the valley, worsening. We specifically asked him to let subjudice matters be settled by the courts & other matters be settled by an elected government.

The former Chief Minister also said that NC chief Farooq Abdullah urged Modi that all necessary steps should be taken to facilitate conduct of Assembly polls before the onset of winter.
Dr Abdullah Sb reminded the Hon PM that J&K has been without an elected government for well over a year now and requested him to take all necessary steps to facilitate the @ECISVEEP’s conduct of assembly polls before the onset of winter.
