Dead-body of man found in orchard in Pulwama

Srinagar: A male dead body was found in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday, police said.

The deceased identified as Ashiq Hussain Hafiz, son of Ghulam Hassan Hafiz, a resident of Dalipora Pulwama, was found dead in a nearby orchard in Prichoo area of the district.

Police said during the preliminary investigations it was found that the person was working in a district Hospital Pulwama and had left home on the morning of July 1, 2020.

However, the cause of his death is yet to be ascertained.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case under section 174 Cr.PC at Police Station Pulwama and further investigations have been taken up.
