Military operation against militants begins in Anantnag’s Marhama
Srinagar: A military operation against militants has begun in Marahama area of Sangam in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday.
Official sources said that militants attacked a party of army’s 03 RR in Marahama village; however, the fleeing militants were soon intercepted by the joint team of police and army.
They added that intermittent firing between armed forces personnel and militants is going on.
