Wani family bereaved: Nazir Ahmad Wani passes away in Srinagar
Srinagar: Prof. Dr. Nazir Ahmad Wani passed away at Sher-I-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) on October 2.
“With profound grief and sorrow we inform the sad demise of Prof. Dr. Nazir Ahmad Wani. He left for heavenly abode on the evening of 2nd October, 2020 at SKIMS, Soura,” the family said.
Wani was the Ex Dean, Professor and Head of Department of Surgery at SKIMS.
Rasm-e-Chahrum shall be held at 10:30 am, on Tuesday, October 6, at their ancestral graveyard in Baha-ud-din Sahib.
Due to the pandemic, no gathering will take place at the residence.
