Srinagar-Leh highway, Mughal road closed due to fresh snowfall
Srinagar: Authorities on Tuesday closed Srinagar-Leh highway and Mughal Road, connecting Shopian and Poonch districts, following the fresh snowfall.
Official sources said that Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari highway (Srinagar-Leh) highway and Mughal road were closed due to accumulation of fresh snow.
However, they said that Jammu-Srinagar highway, connecting Kashmir valley with the rest of the world, was open. The official said that light motor vehicles are plying from Jammu towards Srinagar.
