Military Op launched by armed forces in south Kashmir’s Tral

Pulwama: Armed forces on Friday began a massive cordon and search operation in south Kashmir’s Nagpathri village of Tral township in Awantipora police district, police sources said.

Police sources said armed forces including the army, paramilitary and the special operations group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police have started a cordon and search operation on Friday morning.

“The operation was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in these areas,” sources said.
