Militant hideout busted in Poonch’s Surankote

Poonch: Armed forces on Sunday claimed to have busted a militant hideout in Phagla village of Surankote in Poonch district and recovered nineteen hand grenades.

Official sources said that the hideout was built in a concealed manner in a forest area and has been busted by the army’s Rashtriya Rifles and Poonch police during a search operation launched based on specific information.

“Searches are on and so far nineteen hand grenades have been recovered,” he said.
