Three militants killed in military operation in Anantnag, says police
Srinagar: With the killing of two more militants toll reaches three in a military operation at Vailo area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday.

The operation began after a joint team of Police, Army’s 19 RR and CRPF launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.
He said that as the joint team of forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them triggering the operation.
“Two more militants have been killed in the ongoing operation. However, the identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained,” officials said.
