Srinagar: As killings in Gaza cross 100 post Israeli air-strikes, demonstrations took place across multiple locations in Srinagar in solidarity with Palestine.

Shortly after the Friday prayers, scores of protesters took out a rally with Palestinian flags in old city’s Kawdara neighbourhood.

In a video acquired by Free Press Kashmir, people are seen rasing slogans, “Falasteeniyun ke qatl e aam ko, band karo band karo, end the innocent killings in Palestine.”

A graffiti that read “We are Palestine” appeared in Srinagar’s Padshahi Bagh overnight in support of Palestine.

The graffiti was immediately removed by the administration.

Yesterday, a video of an elderly Kashmiri woman praying for the freedom of Palestine post Eid-namaz went viral on the Internet.

As Israel continues to bombard Gaza with air-strikes, the latest death toll has risen to 113, including at least 31 children. At least 600 people have been wounded, Al Jazeera reported.
