IED found, defused in south Kashmir’s Awantipora, 2nd in a day

Awantipora: Armed forces on Monday detected an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Saimoh Tral area of south Kashmir Awantipora and defused with the help of Bomb Disposal Squad(BDS).

Officials said that an IED was found in Saimoh area of Tral in Awantipora and was defused later by the bomb disposal Squad. He further added that area has been cordoned off and further investigation has been taken up.

Earlier, the IED was found in Panzgam Awantipora which was also defused later, officials said.
