Man held with ‘IED material’ in central Kashmir’s Budgam, says police

Srinagar: Improvised Explosive Device material was recovered on Wednesday evening from a man in Archandrama near the railway station in Magam area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

A police official said that police station Magam apprehended one person identified as Danish Ahmad Dar son of Mohammad Ashraf Dar, a resident of Check Sari Pattan, and recovered IED material from his possession.

He said that an FIR number 154/ 2021 under the section of 5 Explosive Substance Act has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been taken up. (KDC)
