COVID: India records 29,689 new cases, 415 deaths

India recorded 415 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the fatality count to 4,21,382.

The country recorded 29,689 new coronavirus infections in a single day, pushing the total tally of COVID-19 cases to 3,14,40,951, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Tuesday.

The active number of Covid-19 cases in the country is 3,98,100 while 3,06,21,469 people have recovered from the virus so far.

So far, the world has reported 195,392,249 Covid-19 cases since the pandemic broke with 4,183,365 deaths.
