Search operation launched after villagers spot ‘drone’ along LoC in JK’s Akhnoor
Akhnoor: After the information received from villagers about the presence of a drone, Jammu Police on Friday morning launched a search operation near Akhnoor village of Jammu.
Villagers informed police they spotted a blinking light possibly of a drone. The possible drone was spotted flying close to bordering villages near Bhalwal and Pargwal.
A police official said that a search operation was immediately launched after they received the information, however, nothing was found during the operation.
Pertinently, last week, Jammu Police shot down one hexacopter fitted with a 5 kg Improvised Explosive Device near the Kanhachak-Akhnoor area. (KNT)
