JK reports 2 COVID deaths, 113 infections in last 24 hours
Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday witnessed two more deaths and 113 fresh positive cases, taking the number of total active cases in the Union Territory to 1,298.
With two more deaths, the death toll in JK has reached 4,392 and 113 fresh positive cases reported on Tuesday have pushed the tally of positive cases to 322771.
Of the exact number of 322,771 cases, 200,502 are from Kashmir and 122,269 from Jammu.
Officials said that among 113 new cases, 73 belong to Kashmir division while 40 are from Jammu, adding that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached 200502 including 197520 recoveries and 2,239 deaths while as a total number of positive cases in Jammu have reached 122269 including 119561 recoveries and 2,153 deaths.
The officials said that the total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,298 including 743 from Kashmir division and 555 from Jammu.
With 124 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 317081 which is 98.24 percent of the total cases.
