Muharram procession: Harwan-Lal Chowk road to remain closed for traffic movement
‘Traffic to ply from Harwan bus stop via Danihama route to Lal Chowk’
Srinagar: Authorities on Wednesday decided to close Harwan to Lal Chowk road stretch for the vehicular movement today to ensure smooth conduct of Muharram procession.
Officials while making the announcement said that the road from Harwan to Lal Chowk will remain closed today after 12:00 pm.
The road will remain closed for the vehicular movement to ensure smooth conduct of Muharram procession, official sources said, adding that the transport will ply from Harwan Bus stop via Danihama route to Lal Chowk from today afternoon till evening.
