Be ready on ground for next challenge of COVID: DGP to officials

Srinagar: Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh on Saturday visited north Kashmir’s Bandipora district where he addressed officials of both police and civil administration.

Accompanied by IGP Kashmir, Vijay Kumar, the DGP was received by SSP Bandipora Muhammad Zahid and other officers of the district.

Addressing the officials, the DGP said he was happy to be back in Bandipora to compliment all officers and cops personally for exhibiting devotion and sincerity in performing their duties.

He said: “it is good to see that all of us faced the 2nd wave of COVID bravely because JK Police personnel are better vaccinated.” He thanked the almighty for saving the JK Police personnel.

DGP directed the officers and cops to be very careful and cautious for themselves and for their families as the 3rd wave of COVID is supposed to be around.

He said that as in the recent past, they have faced two waves and hoped that the 3rd wave of the pandemic will also be faced bravely.

He directed the personnel to be prepared mentally and physically on the ground for the next challenge of COVID.
