COVID: India records 29,616 new cases, 290 deaths
India recorded 29,616 new coronavirus infections in a single day, pushing the total tally of COVID-19 cases to 33,624,419, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Saturday.
The death count climbed to 446,690 with 290 daily deaths, as per the data updated at 8 am showed. Active cases in the country stand at over 3.01 lakh while over 3.28 crore people have recovered after testing positive.
Globally, there are 231,915,321 confirmed COVID-19 cases with 4,751,585 deaths.
